Respect Big Mike Jr

It has been said that the true America lives in the comments on Youtube. I extend that to the commentary on all issues discussed on social media. Because no longer are intellect and ignorance debated in a face-to-face social setting, they're waged behind the anonymity of the social media platform. These three examples are the reason I try to stray away from discussions with people who I cannot engage in person. At the same time, these comments and the like cause me to hurt and become angry. This is our America.

Self-hating Blacks won't get behind the issue of mistreatment of Mike Brown's death because of his image. The image of a young man not yet twenty, who may have had a complex with authority. A young man who may have been plagued with the same thirst for violence as his killer and so many other. The degenerates of the Black race seem to be the only ones who are viewed as a threat to society though. They are the only people who some of their counterparts seem to be worthy of being shot on sight without any question to the reasoning. Self-hating Blacks avoid Black things especially when there may be "thugs", "hoods", "gangsters", and such.

These ole "I can't go to that Black College because it's in the 'hood but I'll join a Black organization at a White school to prove I'm 'down'" ass clowns. These "ya'll niggas are the reason why I don't get respected on my job because everyone thinks I'm a thug even though I've changed everything to assimilate" ass clowns. You make me vomit.
Did Darren Wilson overstep his boundaries and execute Brown in cold blood? We won't know because it was not decided that there was enough to indict him. Just as justice wasn't served in the shooting, it was not served in Brown's alleged robbery of a gas station. Wilson's action on that day made sure that Brown never saw a day in court. He may not have went to college when you consider the time they would have tried to throw at him for that robbery.

Thug culture victimizes us apparently. I was not aware. I say this as a man whose home was burglarized in January 2014 allegedly (since there has been no conviction) by three young black men. In the days before the arrest, I theorized so many different criminals being responsible for this act, sometimes they were Black, sometimes white. There was even this one that I thought it could have been a relative of my Asian neighbors. Either way, I could not stick to the image that the young men eventually apprehended would look the way they did. I had no idea. Secondly, I see, know, and interact with these supposed "thugs" in my everyday life. I grew up with them, played football with them, held their kids, gave them advice, and more. I don't seem to feel threatened at all when in their space. Maybe I'm a thug.

Big Mike Jr? Is it a crime to have a nickname these days? Or do I need a safe nickname? I knew a white man who went by Trey because he was the third to share the namesake of his dad and granddad. That's a good safe one there. So is Chip, Bo, Skip, and the list goes on. To this online persona of Big Mike Jr. though. I suppose I need to purge my social media account since my swearing once made a twitter bot tell me to calm it down. I have a confession: in 2004, I played Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. I would use the protagonist, a Black man named CJ, to pick up sex workers for fun and shoot them to take my money back after receiving sexual favors. Now that I've put that out there, I guess I need to make sure to draft a will because I'm not worth of living if someone accuses me of a violent crime. Fuck due process. The race baiter line was good but nah.

These ole "I'm just the perfect person on these twitter streets even though in real life, I cheat my friends out of money, embezzle funds from my employer, drive 20 mph above the speed limit, and physically assault my children in the name of discipline" ass clowns. These ole "Thugs are ruining my life more than my employer who cheats me out of a deserving salary because I'm a woman/minority/handicap/gay/immigrant or some combination" ass clowns.

The last one is my favorite. Your mom is stupid. I mean completely stupid. When a policeman is killed in the line of duty, it's front page news. The city shuts down in some cases to pay respect to the fallen. What goes untold are the abused spouses of dirt bag policemen. Those who are home and afraid to speak out for fear that the very people they would report the crime to are the work buddies of the abuser. On to the veterans, as I am one. Yes what about us? We get that one good day of free food in November, a couple ata boy's from the bros, and a cap (optional) all because we fought to contain the "evil" Arabs, Communists, Nazis, or who ever. True this is not about race; it just so happens that the only hoodlums that America doesn't mind being killed in the process of apprehension just happen to be Black. I mean pure coincidence.

Back to the vile Mike Brown, has anyone considered that his response to the police could stem in the fact that he was knowledgeable, as are many Blacks, that once the gun came into play his chance of living had diminished. It's not like he needed the Dewey Decimal System to research cases where a cop killed an unarmed black man to realize that he was about to become the next bullet (no pun intended) point in a list of names. It's easy for people who are less likely to have a gun drawn on them by a cop to say how one should respond when a cop draws a gun on someone. I know what to do when mortars rounds are dropping close range through experience and would bet good money that if an errant mortar dropped near your current location, you'd probably shit your pants before taking action.

These ole "I can't see my scenario is false because it is not happening right now in front of my face even though I've seen it so many times" ass clowns. These ole "I'm going to switch up the discussion to talk about some other group who may or may not have any damn thing to do with this discussion just so I can avoid the real issue" ass clowns.

I'm proud to see the protest this Thanksgiving, and as an employee of a department store, I  hope you continue to shut these muthafuckas down. This is SPARTA!
